Yea, the last version of frames were LT 2.3. I got one directly from SC in mid 2013 when they were liquidating all the remaining stock but have no idea what the differences are between the 2.2. Speak out advanced workbook free download. And 2.3.Interesting, the Bronson came out April 2013. They must have changed some specs to give it the.3.
Santa Cruz Blur LT archive only lists LT 2.2 click on link and then click on 'component notes' Component Notes Blur-LT2 - 2008-2010 Headtube - 1-1/8' Strait External Rear Hub - 135 x 10mm (QR) 2010-2011 Blur-LT2.1 Head Tube - Tapered Rear Hub - 135 x 10mm (QR) 2012 Blur--LT2.2 Head Tube - Tapered Rear Hub - 142 x 12mm. It would appear that there was a misprint in my paperwork Invoice/Order from SC when I bought the frame. I emailed SC tech and they said there never was a 2.3 version. The last version was 2.2.
This is kinda strange because I am pretty sure I remember it being sold as LT 2.3 when I bought it, but that was 3 years ago so cant be sure.Salespeople will tell you anything! They where trying to make room for all those new Bronson frames! I bought my LT2 in January of 2013, on April 1st the Bronson came out!
I should have known that for $500 off the Blur there was a change in the future. It is very confusing. SC spec sheet ( click on component notes) shows: -2.1 as Tapered HT and 135x10 rear -2.2 as going to 142x12 However, this article () contradicts this in that is states that the 2.2 did not include the 142x12 rear end. So maybe the 2.2 didn't have the 142x12 like SC is stating. Who knows at this point. Then there is the fact that others out there also believe they too have a 2.3. I see a few of them being sold as 2.3.
Either way it I guess it doesn't really matter. How much difference could there actually be between the 2.2 and 2.3. I was originally trying to figure it out so I could make sure to get the correct bearings/links/tools for mine and was getting conflicting info from SC. Looks like the mystery continues:-). BLUR LT Continuing the evolution of the do-it-all trailbike, the Blur LT has received some new tweaks to keep the evergreen contender ahead of the pack. The 140mm travel VPP® suspension cradled in a durable and respectably light frame has been upgraded via reworked top and downtubes for greater strength, and the addition of an offset lower link and an ISCG mount.
The ISCG mount allows for more versatility when mounting chainguides, the new lower link features recessed grease ports, ensuring that one of the all-time versatile trailbikes stays at the front of the dust cloud.
